The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) began in 1952 in Nigeria with Reverend Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi and a small group of believers. Rooted in prayer and a passion for spreading God’s word, the church quickly grew. In 1980, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye became the General Overseer after Rev. Akindayomi’s passing, a transition guided by faith. Since then, RCCG has blossomed into a global church, with parishes in over 190 countries. Known for its focus on holiness, powerful prayer, and transformative miracles, RCCG continues to share the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world.
